Johnnie Walker Red Label

Famous Grouse The Black Grouse Alpha Edition
Johnnie Walker
Johnnie Walker began in 1820 as a small grocer's shop in Kilmarnock, when John Walker noticed that whisky from different barrels tasted inconsistent. Rather than see this as a flaw, he experimented with blending different malt and grain whiskies to create a consistent, refined product. This marked the birth of what would become one of the world's best-selling blended Scotch whiskies.
The blend draws single malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland's regions. This expression is aged for a minimum of 12 years in oak casks, developing a full, layered flavour profile.
On the nose, sweet fruit, vanilla, and wood emerge alongside dry spice and a trace of smoke. The palate is soft and approachable, revealing toffee, barley sugar, and subtle herbal notes. The finish is fruity and lingering, with a warming spice that rewards the sip.
