A Song of Fire

A Song of Fire is a limited-edition blend from Johnnie Walker's Game of Thrones collection, inspired by the dragons of House Targaryen. The blend draws on peated malt from Caol Ila, an Islay distillery, lending subtle smoke as a tribute to the fire-breathing dragons of the series.

The blend pairs these smoky malts with grain whiskies sourced across Scotland, creating a balanced expression. At 40.8% ABV, it is approachable, with the peat smoke tempered by sweet, fruity undertones.

On the nose, toffee and caramel emerge alongside warming spices—nutmeg and five-spice—with soft smoke in the background. The palate reveals more sweetness than the nose promises: raisins, dates, chocolate, and caramel, with orange and a hint of smoky, bacon-like character. The finish fades gently, with lingering smoke and honey-nut sweetness, without harshness.
