Black, Extra-Aged

Club Triple Malt
Jim Beam is over two centuries of American whisky history in a bottle. The brand takes its name from James B. Beam, who rebuilt the family business after Prohibition ended in the 1930s. The Beam family's story began much earlier, however: in 1788, when Johannes Jacob Beam — a German immigrant — settled in Kentucky and began distilling corn whiskey. That heritage flows through every Jim Beam release.
This 4-year-old bourbon is aged in newly charred oak barrels, a cornerstone of Jim Beam's approach. Kentucky's warm climate cycles expand and contract the wood, driving the spirit deep into the barrel staves for flavor extraction. The rye in the mash bill adds a spicy backbone.
On the nose: vanilla and toasted corn, with hints of caramel and candied apple. The palate is youthful and direct — spice-forward, with notes of almond butter, cinnamon, and fresh fruit (apple, cherry). The finish is dry and peppery, with a coffee-tinged oak that underscores the whisky's relative youth.
This is bourbon without pretense — for those who want to taste the honest foundation of American whisky, neat or in a classic cocktail.
