White Sands

White Sands takes its name from Islay's miles of pristine white sand beaches that frame the distillery. This 17-year-old single malt was matured in ex-bourbon casks and holds a special place as a personal favourite of Bowmore's distiller.

The nose reveals vanilla and creamy toffee with a restrained hint of peat smoke. On the palate, it arrives quickly with caramel, apple, and lemon zest, then unfolds into oak and cedar notes that sit comfortably alongside the other flavours. The spirit is oily and well-integrated, with no rough edges.

The finish is long and dry, carrying ash, citrus, and light fruit notes through. This is a Bowmore that treads the line between Islay's subtle smoke and the soft vanilla and caramel sweetness that bourbon maturation brings.
