Moscatel Finish Single Cask

Sea Shepherd - Sherry Edition Batch 001 by Kirsch Import
Glenfarclas is one of Scotland's rare independent family distilleries—owned by the Grants since 1865. This 8-year-old expression shows what a young Speyside malt can achieve when fully matured in sherry casks: a full-bodied, sweet spirit that drinks considerably older than its age.
Matured entirely in sherry wood, it develops a deep golden hue and a nose brimming with dried fruit—raisins, stewed apple, dried apricot—anchored by almond and vanilla. The palate is juicy and generously sweet, with mocha and caramel notes woven through apple-cider brightness and wine-like depth. The finish arrives spicy and rounded, lacking the rawness you might expect from such a young malt.
At 64% ABV, this is a forceful dram unafraid of its own character. For those who want the full influence of sherry maturation without waiting the years a 15- or 25-year-old demands.
