Rockstar Spirits launched in 2018 with a mission to craft the finest spiced rum on the market, but has recently ventured into whisky. Both Barrels Cask Strength lives up to its name: a blended malt marriage of two distinct Scottish malts—one from the Highlands, one from Speyside—each bringing its own depth to the blend.

Composition is everything here. Both whiskies are finished in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, creating a layered, textured spirit. Bottled at cask strength (56%), you experience the full spectrum of both distillates undiluted—no compromise, no softening.

The nose opens with vanilla and dark chocolate orange. The palate delivers malted barley and honey, followed by ginger spice. A long finish unfolds with red berries and summer fruit, joined by gentle oak char and butterscotch, building toward a warming, spiced conclusion.
