Established by a group of friends during a sauna session, Kyrö has gained a solid reputation for its rye whisky over the past decade. This expression showcases their craftsmanship, utilizing traditional methods and locally sourced ingredients for an authentic Finnish experience. The tasting notes reveal a complex palate marked by malty sweetness, rich oak, and a distinct smokiness. This character is achieved through the drying of rye over alder wood in a century-old ‘riihi’, a traditional Finnish barn.
