Blue Label, Year Of The Rat Limited Edition 2020

Johnnie Walker created this limited edition in collaboration with artist Shirley Gong to honour the Chinese New Year 2020 – the Year of the Rat. The bottle celebrates the pioneering spirit that has made Lunar New Year a dynamic global event. Master Distiller James Beveridge assembled this blend from some of Scotland's rarest whiskies, paying homage to the blending craft of founder John Walker and his son Alexander.

Blue Label draws on mature malts and grains from Speyside and Highland distilleries, including delicate selections from Cardhu and Clynelish. This exceptional blend reflects the house style Johnnie Walker has defined since its founding in 1820.

The nose reveals ample fruit, followed by tobacco and smooth notes of oak and spice. The palate is supple and balanced, bringing chocolate, hints of grass, and malt. The finish turns floral and spicy, with smoke and lingering length.
