Deanston began life in an unlikely place: a Victorian cotton mill built in 1785 on the banks of the River Teith. When blender Brodie Hepburn converted the industrial building into a distillery in 1965, he inherited not just a building but a production philosophy — one that would later embrace certified organic whisky-making. Since 2000, Deanston has been the world's first certified organic single malt producer, a commitment that runs through every step: slow mashing, certified casks, meticulous sourcing.

This 15-year-old Organic is bottled at cask strength and matured in a blend of American oak, virgin oak, and wine casks — a combination that gives Deanston its signature waxy texture, a hallmark that sets it apart from many Highland peers.
