Glen Garioch was founded in 1797 by John Manson in Old Meldrum, Aberdeenshire — among Scotland's oldest continuously operating distilleries. This 12 Years Old embodies the house style: a calibrated blend of American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks that deepens Highland character without overwhelming it.

The cask strategy is deliberate: bourbon brings softness and vanilla; sherry adds depth and fruit complexity. Non-chill-filtered and bottled at 48% ABV, so nothing is hidden or diluted away.

Warm gold in the glass. The nose reveals heather flowers, poached pears, and roasted malt — Highland classicism without artifice. The palate delivers crème brûlée creaminess and ripe banana, followed by pear and subtle vanilla in the finish. A whisky that wears its age honestly, without pretence.
