12 years Rye

Farmstock
Bulleit 95 Rye traces its roots to a family dream: in 1987, Tom Bulleit revived a bourbon recipe created by his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit over a century earlier. When bartenders and mixologists repeatedly asked for a rye expression, the brand answered. Launched in 2011, it has become America's largest rye whiskey.
The secret lies in its composition: 95% rye and 5% malted barley—far above the industry standard of 51%. This unusually high rye content delivers a distinctive spicy finish, making it a natural choice for classic cocktails like the Manhattan, Old Fashioned, and Sazerac.
The bottle shows a light golden hue. The nose opens with caramel, paprika, and pepper, followed by apricot and fresh oak. The palate reveals caramel sweetness and honey before rye spice and pepper take hold, with a silky mouthfeel that belies the 45% ABV. The finish is clean and lingering, oak and caramel notes persisting.
