Signature

Loch Lomond Signature is a blended Scotch whisky distinguished by an unconventional maturation approach: after initial ageing, malt and grain whiskies are married and then further conditioned in the distillery's 100-cask Solera system. This dynamic blend draws from American oak ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, allowing the whisky to evolve and refine continuously.

The Solera method — traditionally employed for sherry and cognac — ensures no cask empties completely: liquid is drawn from the lowest tier and replaced with fresh blend from above, creating a living, consistent house style without static maturation. Sherry influence deepens gradually, adding depth without dominating.

Amber-hued with golden highlights, the nose opens with vanilla, butterscotch and orchard fruit, backed by noticeable sherry sweetness. The palate unfolds with dried fruit, summer spices and creamy oak, finishing clean and warming with traces of herbal tea and dry cocoa that linger.
