Drumshanbo marks the revival of Connacht's spirits tradition. Entrepreneur PJ Rigney founded The Shed Distillery in 2014, bringing the first distillation to the region in over a century. Single Pot Still is uniquely Irish: a blend of malted and unmalted barley, plus Irish oats, triple-distilled to create a characteristically smooth, creamy spirit.

Matured in ex-bourbon barrels with a secondary influence from Oloroso sherry casks, the whiskey gains depth without heaviness. The combination creates a whiskey that feels silky on the palate — generous and approachable, yet with surprising complexity beneath the surface.
