Dewar's Caribbean Smooth launches a new cask finish series, extending founder John Dewar's legacy of blending innovation into the modern age. Since 1846, Dewar's has mastered the craft of blending; this 8-year-old expression carries that tradition forward with an unexpected twist—a finish in ex-Caribbean rum casks.

The blend marries up to 40 single malts and grain whiskies, each aged a minimum of 8 years and double matured before spending six months in rum casks. That rum cask finish brings warm, tropical character without tipping the blend into cloying sweetness.

On the nose: crisp apple and vanilla give way to coconut and dark toffee. The palate reveals silky body with chocolate, brown sugar, and molasses held in balance by juicy tropical fruit. The finish is long and warming, with oak and baking spices lingering. This is a blend that drinks easily without being shallow—a dram that lets the Scottish grain and malt speak, not overshadowed by the rum cask influence.
