Founded in 2005 by Tien-Tsai Lee of the King Car Group, Kavalan is Taiwan's first dedicated whisky distillery. The name honours the indigenous Kavalan people who inhabited the Yilan Plain for centuries. The distillery harnesses Taiwan's intense humidity and pristine meltwater from Snow Mountain to shape its distinctive character.

Solist Peated is matured in both sherry and bourbon casks, marrying peat-forward character with sweet, complex fruit. At 50.8% ABV, it delivers a robust, oily mouthfeel and a lingering finish that rewards patience.
