Signature
James Power, a Dublin innkeeper, established his distillery in 1791—a venture that would define Irish whiskey for generations. Powers built its reputation on Single Pot Still whiskey, made from a mix of malted and unmalted barley, triple-distilled in copper stills using traditional Irish methods. The Signature Release honours that legacy: now produced at Midleton, it carries the name and spirit of the original Thomas Street distillery that launched the brand over two centuries ago.
Matured in a combination of American oak and Oloroso Sherry casks, this whiskey develops a rich, layered character rooted in the Single Pot Still tradition. That style—a distinctive blend of cereal and spice—is what sets Powers apart.
