Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition
Chivas Regal Chivas Brothers' Blend
Chivas Regal traces its story to two brothers in Aberdeen who took over a wine merchant business in the 1850s. The 1860 Spirit Act gave them the freedom to blend their own whiskies — a breakthrough moment in Scottish distilling. By 1909, their chief blender Charles Howard had created Chivas Regal 25, the world's first luxury blended Scotch. This 12-year-old expression carries that same legacy, built from malts and grains matured primarily in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
On the nose, caramel and vanilla lead, followed by bright citrus and herbal willow notes. The palate is gently sweet — honey and orchard fruit — but anchored by wood spices (pepper, clove) and sandalwood. The finish is clean and refined, with lingering heather and a whisper of oak that doesn't overpower. A well-rounded, approachable blend that rewards a moment's attention.
