Old No. 7 met T-Shirt

Master Distiller #1
1981 Gold Medal Series
The seventh and final expression in the Jack Daniel's Gold Medal Series honours a gold medal the distillery received in 2006—a rare tribute to decades of craftsmanship. This 1981-dated collector's piece marks a singular moment in Tennessee whiskey history, commemorating Jack Daniel's long-established reputation as a globally recognised producer.
Made using Jack Daniel's signature method: a mash of at least 51% corn, matured in new charred oak barrels and filtered through maple charcoal before aging. This process delivers the whisky's characteristic smoothness and consistency.
The nose reveals herbaceous notes—sage, thyme, rosemary—followed by thin caramel, vanilla extract and coffee grounds. On the palate, vanilla, caramel and light tobacco converge in a smooth, full-bodied expression. A whisky that carries history in the bottle.
