Bushmills American Oak is a blended whiskey from one of the world's oldest licensed distilleries. In 1608, King James I granted a distilling license to Sir Thomas Phillipps in Bushmills, County Antrim—a moment that bound the village and whiskey-making together forever. This bottling honours that legacy: single malt matured first in bourbon and sherry casks, then finished in double-charred American oak barrels.

The American oak finish is the story. Double-charred wood delivers an intense wood character and vanilla sweetness—not a whisper, but a clear voice. Master blender Helen Mulholland marries this finished malt with smooth triple-distilled grain whiskey, bringing balance and approachability to the blend.
