This inaugural age-stated expression marks a significant achievement for the Highland distillery, with only 3,900 bottles released. This Highland single malt spent ten years maturing in first-fill ruby port pipes sourced in 2016 from Portugal's Douro Valley—one of the world's oldest protected wine regions. The selection of these exceptional casks fundamentally shapes the whisky's character and complexity.

Tasting Profile

Nose: Port wine aromas drift alongside delicate sea salt. Dried fruits emerge gradually—raisins, dark cherries, and sultanas wrapped in a deeply vinous embrace.

Palate: Luscious caramel and smooth vanilla arrive first, underpinned by beautiful wine-soaked flavours. Darker notes follow: gentle oak smoke and the rich sweetness of dates and figs, with a supple, full-bodied texture and outstanding depth.

Finish: Long and warming. Caramel and dried fruits linger with quiet confidence, while signature ruby port notes weave through to the very end.
