Ruadh Maor releases a rare 14-year-old single malt bottled for Chorlton Whisky. This is a significant release as Ruadh Maor ceased production in 2025, making this bottling an increasingly scarce offering. The distillery's characteristic wildness is accentuated by maturation in an unconventional marsala barrique.

This Highland single malt was matured in a distinctive marsala barrique and bottled at 57.3% ABV. The release yields 700ml bottles priced at €85.00. The unusual cask type plays a substantial role in shaping this whisky's complex profile.

On the nose, walnut, tobacco, smoky notes and grilled pears emerge alongside red apple. The palate delivers caramel, pepper, salt and a smoky, burnt character with tarry undertones. The finish is peppery and smoky with saline and burnt wood notes.
