Maker's Mark Celebrates America's 250th Anniversary with Patriotic Limited Edition

Maker's Mark marks America's 250th anniversary with a special limited-edition bourbon featuring patriotic red, white, and blue colors. For the first time, the Kentucky bourbon brand has embraced an American color scheme, combining its iconic hand-dipped red wax seal with an added white wax layer and blue logo seal—creating a distinctly patriotic presentation.

Bottled at 45% ABV in 700 ml bottles, this release maintains Maker's Mark's signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon recipe. The brand distinguishes itself by using red winter wheat instead of rye, resulting in a softer, sweeter bourbon profile compared to traditional competitors. The distillery continues its traditional production methods in Loretto.

Tasting Notes

The nose reveals fresh fruit, vanilla, and caramel with sugary notes, red apple, and cherry. The palate delivers vanilla, caramel, and toffee complemented by peppery dried spices. The finish concludes with toffee, oak, and peppery notes.

This release also supports the Farmer Veteran Coalition, which has assisted over 58,000 veterans through training and mentorship in agricultural careers. A meaningful tribute that honors both American heritage and those who serve.
