Little Brown Dog, the independent bottler from Aberdeenshire, unveils its first-ever core expression: Aberdeenshire Single Malt Batch One. This landmark release marks eight years of growth from cult phenomenon to an established name in modern Scotch whisky. The 12-year-old Highland single malt was distilled at Glen Garioch, just ten minutes from Little Brown Dog's headquarters.

The whisky was matured in 60% first-fill bourbon barrels and 40% Oloroso and PX sherry casks, bottled at 46% ABV in natural colour and non-chill filtered. Batch One has been produced in hand-numbered runs of approximately 2,000 bottles – large by Little Brown Dog standards, yet intentionally small enough to celebrate subtle batch variation and character.

On the nose: fruity flowers, fresh fruit, dried fruit, citrus and caramel. On the palate: leafy, dried fruit, tropical fruit, vanilla, honey and tobacco. The finish delivers vanilla, honey and peppery notes.

Designed as a permanent core expression at a fair price, this whisky offers both a gateway to the brand's sought-after single cask releases and an outstanding whisky in its own right. Launched in April 2026 at EUR 50.00.
