This limited edition of just 205 bottles offers a fascinating departure from the distillery's typical sherry-forward character. Bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh for Inverurie Whisky Shop, this release presents a completely different perspective on what this Highland malt can deliver.

Distilled on 28 March 2006 and matured for two decades in refill bourbon cask #2107, the whisky develops a fresher, more delicate profile than Glendronach's sherry-dominated standard expressions. At 51.9% ABV and 700ml, this is a powerful statement of what bourbon maturation can achieve in the Highlands.

Tasting Profile

The nose reveals poached pear, lychee, honey, almonds, and freshly ground coffee. On the palate, a slightly waxy texture carries white chocolate and coffee notes, alongside green grape and star anise. The finish is long and spiced, with marzipan, tobacco, cardamom, and nutmeg.
