No longer a revival of a lost label, this expression now serves as the core malt of one of Scotland's most well-regarded producers. This 700ml bottle is exclusively matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía.

Maturation and Production

This Highland single malt matures exclusively in premium sherry casks from Andalucía for 15 years. The casks rest in Glendronach's traditional dark dunnage warehouses located outside the small eastern Highland town of Huntly. This authentic maturation approach delivers the characteristic sherry-influenced character that defines Glendronach's reputation.

Tasting Profile

The nose reveals an intoxicating burst of dried fruit, citrus, caramel and almond with hints of dried spices. The palate displays dried fruit, caramel, honey and hazelnut with a peppery character. The finish lingers with notes of dried fruit, toffee, oak and a warm peppery conclusion.
