Benromach releases a classic 18-year-old from 2008, specially bottled for Whiskybase. This mature Speyside single malt showcases Benromach's signature character: soft waxiness, mineral notes, and a pleasant smoky signature that defines this distillery's distinctive identity.

Matured in a first-fill bourbon cask and bottled at natural strength of 59.1% ABV, this whisky has had 18 years to develop a full, balanced character. The 700ml bottle represents classic old-school Speyside craftsmanship at its finest.

The nose reveals soft waxiness with mineral notes, petrichor and wet pebbles, complemented by custard, butterscotch and ripe lemons. The palate is oily and austere, with leafy characters, delicate charcoal and citrus peel, while a distinct salinity runs through.
