Ian MacLeod's 'As We Get It' range is built on a philosophy of radical simplicity: whisky bottled exactly as it emerges from the cask, with no colouring, chill-filtering, or manipulation. Each batch is unique — strength and colour shift with every release, making no two bottlings identical. The name is literal: this is the whisky as the distillery received it, nothing more. Cask strength and unfiltered, this Islay single malt carries the full weight of its origin. The peat and smoke characteristic of the island come through uncompromised, backed by the richer mouthfeel and natural oils that chill-filtering would strip away. This is an unpolished, authentic dram — the opposite of a carefully engineered house style.
