This 13-year-old Speyside single malt honours that maritime legacy with a profile equally bold and layered. Matured in ex-bourbon casks with a sherry finish, the whisky builds complexity through the interplay of wood types. The result is full-bodied and structured, unafraid to show its character. On the nose: leather and tobacco emerge first, followed by honey and vanilla. The palate brings forward orchard fruit—apple, pear—with spice and a dry, wine-like texture.
