Rozelieures is a pioneering French single malt whisky produced by Distillerie Grallet-Dupic, located in the Lorraine region of northeastern France. The distillery holds a remarkable distinction as the first whisky producer in Lorraine, with its inaugural expression hitting shelves in 2007. Rooted in a strong sense of place, the whisky is distilled from grain grown directly on the Rozelieures farm, earning it a coveted place among a select group of producers with genuine terroir credentials. Since 2017, the distillery has operated independently as a standalone operation. The Rozelieures portfolio is defined by its diversity and commitment to quality. The distillery ages its whisky across multiple storehouses, including a historic building dating back to 1870, and matures expressions in a variety of cask types such as sherry and sauternes barrels. Among its most notable achievements, Rozelieures is recognized as the only French distillery producing a 100% peated single malt whisky. Its key collections include the Origine Collection, the Rare Collection, and various other expressions that showcase the distillery's experimental spirit and regional character. Rozelieures has played an important role in putting French whisky on the international map, drawing attention from critics and whisky enthusiasts worldwide. Its dedication to locally grown grain, innovative cask maturation, and bold production choices — including full peating — have established it as one of the most distinctive and respected names in European craft whisky.
