Finding venues

Search and filter to find the perfect whisky location:

Search
Search by venue name.
Filter
Filter by type (bar, liquor store, distillery), country and rating.
Location
Use "Use my location" to find venues near you, sorted by distance.
Map view
View all venues on an interactive map.

Sort by name, rating, number of reviews, newly added or distance (with location enabled).

Checking in at a venue

Open the venue pageSearch for the venue and open the detail page.

Click "I'm here!"You'll be asked to share your location so the check-in can be verified.

Share what you're drinkingOptionally add a note about which whisky you're tasting.
Earning stamps

Many venues have a stamp card. If you check in and your location is verified (within 100 metres), you automatically earn a stamp. Collect stamps for rewards!

Writing reviews

Share your experience with other whisky enthusiasts:

  • Give a score of 1 to 5 stars
  • Write a review about the atmosphere, selection and service
  • You can edit or delete your review later
  • Reviews help other enthusiasts find the best venues

Favourites

Mark venues as favourites by clicking the heart. You can quickly find your favourites by enabling the "Favourites" filter on the venues page.

Suggest a venue

Know a whisky location that's not on WhiskyCircle yet? Suggest it! Go to Venues and click "Suggest venue". Fill in the name, type, address and optionally a website. We'll review the suggestion as soon as possible.
