Stamps on Check-in

Check-in stamps are ideal for venues, bars and shops. Customers automatically earn a stamp when they check in at your location via the app.

Stamp card with check-in stamps and progress towards reward
Customers can see their progress and how many stamps they still need

How does it work?

1
Customer opens the venue pageThe customer looks up your location on WhiskyCircle or arrives via a link.
2
Customer clicks "I'm here!"On your venue page, the customer sees the check-in button with information about the stamp card.
3
Location is verifiedThe app checks whether the customer is actually at your location (within 100 metres).
4
Stamp is awardedUpon successful check-in, the customer automatically receives a stamp and immediately sees their progress.
Location required

Customers must enable location access to earn a stamp. Without location they can still check in, but they won't receive a stamp. This prevents abuse.

Settings

When creating a check-in stamp card you can configure the following options:

  • Number of stamps for a reward (e.g. 10 check-ins)
  • Cooldown period – prevent customers from earning multiple stamps per day (default 20 hours)
  • Radius for location verification (50-500 metres)

What does the customer see?

On your venue page, the customer sees:

  • The name of your stamp card and the reward
  • Their current progress (e.g. 3/10 stamps)
  • A warning if location is not available
  • An instant toast notification after earning a stamp

Encourage customers to check in by placing a sign at the entrance with "Check in on WhiskyCircle and save for a free [reward]!"

Suitable for

  • Whisky bars and pubs – reward loyal visitors
  • Liquor stores with a tasting area – encourage regular visits
  • Distilleries with a visitor centre
  • Locations that want customers to check in themselves without staff involvement
