DYC Distillery, founded in 1958 by Nicomedes García, is located in the picturesque region of Segovia, Spain. Situated at the foot of a national park and alongside the Eresma River, the distillery benefits from the purity of the water sourced from this location. Currently, it operates under the ownership of Beam Suntory, marking its unique position as the only Spanish whisky brand within this global portfolio. With a production capacity that supports a variety of whisky types, DYC produces blended, blended malt, and single malt whiskies. The distillation process involves double distillation, resulting in a character that showcases sweet notes of vanilla and honey, complemented by a hint of spices.
