Allt-A-Bhainne distillery is located in the picturesque region of Speyside, Scotland. Established in 1975, it was built to provide malt whisky for the Chivas Regal blends. The distillery is currently owned by Pernod Ricard and continues to operate, contributing to its reputation within the whisky community. With an impressive annual production capacity of 4 million liters, Allt-A-Bhainne utilizes eight large fermenters, each with a capacity of 44,000 liters, alongside an 8-ton mashtun. The whisky produced here is characterized by its sweet and fruity profile, with notes of malt, sherry, and spices on the nose. On the palate, drinkers can expect a blend of sweet fruit, citrus, and pepper, culminating in a finish marked by sweetness, spices, nuts, oak, and a touch of oil.
