Production & Maturation

Matured in European Oak ex-Oloroso cask and bottled at natural cask strength (48% ABV) with natural colour and no chill-filtration, this 70 cL release offers an authentic expression of the distillery's character. Established in 1821 on the outskirts of Elgin, Linkwood is renowned for its slow distillation using traditional wooden washbacks and large copper stills, producing a smooth, aromatic spirit.

Tasting Notes

The nose reveals fresh and dried fruit, caramel, malty notes, and sherried characteristics. The palate develops dried fruit and citrus with oak and peppery spice notes. The finish presents honey, malty sweetness, oak, and a peppery conclusion.
