Stork Club is a German rye whisky brand with roots going back to 2003, when the distillery was first founded. In 2016, Spreewood Distillers took over the operation, breathing new life into the brand and setting it on a course to produce award-winning rye whisky. Located in Brandenburg, Germany, the name pays homage both to the wild storks native to the region and the legendary Stork Club, the famous Manhattan nightclub. The team behind Spreewood Distillers brings impressive industry credentials, with co-founder Bastian Heuser having co-founded Bar Convent Berlin. Stork Club has built its reputation around a clear mission: crafting standout rye whisky using locally sourced rye and pure regional water. The portfolio centres on straight rye expressions, including a core Straight Rye aged 3–4 years in a blend of virgin American oak, ex-bourbon, and ex-white wine barrels, as well as a Full Proof Straight Rye. A Rye Malt expression rounds out the range, aged in American oak, European oak, and Jerez casks.
